Flowering Tilda
Well, I finally did this all by myself! No help whatsoever! I wasn't able to crop the photo the way I wanted but, I was able to get it here!!! Yeah!! Dance of Joy!!It has taken me quite a while to gather up enough courage to do this and yes, I am pretty proud! I was so afraid I would lose the photo in transit.Yep, It's a miracle!
I love this Tilda with the Floral Head Wreath. She looks so innocent and shy. I used silk flowers around the oval frame. The DP was in my stash, I loved the ladybugs and bee's.I used my Coluzzle to cut out the frame.C/S Barely Banana and GP 110lb White.Tilda was colored with Prismas and Daler Rowney LO Thinner.(Thanks for the tip Susan!)I used a mini flower punch for the flowers on the wreath for dimension.I used Dimensionals behind Tilda so she would pop! I had alot of fun with this card. It took forever because I kept stopping just to look at her and say "Aww, you are so cute!"
Happy Stamping:)

The "IT GUY" could teach an old dog new Tricks!
Last night I was taught for 2 hours how to down load photos of my cards! I learned alot and hopefully I will continue to learn more about the computer and its "SECRETS!" I have down loaded a closer view of my recent "TILDA" as practice! I added to a past post as a lesson from "IT GUY" and it worked! Wow! This photo cropping and all is just a wonderful tool! I am off to make and down load some New Cards!
Thanks for looking!

Those "IT" Guys are Great!!!
It's Saturday afternoon and I have found out that "I am not computer intelligent!". Who knew that it would take a "Virtual Army" to teach me how to use a computer?....My "IT" guy that's who! Along with all the wonderful people who have been helping me along this journey to become a blogger! Their patience has meant the world to me! My friend Deb has been there for me every step of the way and she continues to still be my friend!!!!! Now, that's a test of friendship no person should have to endure!
I will sit in "beautiful computer ignorance" making cards and loving every minute of it until "IT GUY" makes his appearance on Monday or Tuesday!........Stay tuned, this could get interesting!
Happy Stamping :)

The Name "Poquita Lita"
Our first and only grandson was born a year ago last April. My maternal side of the family are hispanic. My grandmother was 94 and was going to be known as "Abuela"(Grandmother). So an endearing term for grandma is "Abuelita". That name my mom was going to get! So,I was asking my mom"what will the baby call me?"
This was a HUGE family decision and involved alot of thought on everyones part. Oh! the drama! Mind you, this name was going to be with me forever! So, after much consideration the name"Poquita Lita"(little grandma) was bestowed upon me! I was neither little nor, had I ever been a grandma before! So, I accepted my new "Title" and I am the happiest "Lita" in the world!

More Free time
Happy Friday!
As you can see I am still working on my set up! I am sometimes an impatient person! So, learning about Blogging has proved to be a Challenge! I am not a quitter so, I promise I will improve :) This Blog has been alot of fun and talk about "Out of my comfort zone!" Well, lets just say "Have YOU" ever seen a pig fly!
My son Jacob is going to Church Camp on Sunday. Hubby flys out to work on Monday and then I am free to do nothing but card making "All Day "everyday for the next 5 days! Yippee for me! My glee comes from the fact that this has been "Carefully orchestrated for six months!" Yes, the stars are in alignment and alls well...so far! Check back and if I am breathing I'll be here!
Have a great weekend , I know I will!

Tilda "Watching The World Go By"
I love this "Summertime Tilda" she is sitting on "The Shabby Chic Fence"
The photo doesn't show that Tilda, the fence and her hat are all cut out and in "3D". I made a little "Page Bookmark" for the corner. It's removable and is that "little extra" that I try to always add to my cards, something the recipient can use when the card is put away!
I used layering of c/s in contrasting colors of the rose family. Dimensionals gave the added depth. Tilda and the fence were colored using Prismas and Gamsol. The DP is by Stampin'Up. A white gel pen was used for the stitching.
Christmas in July
When the weather heats up in the middle of July I sometimes need to remember the snow of a Pennsylvania winter! This was the Christmas card I made for this past Christmas.I made 75 of them!
This is an"Inkadinkadoo" stamp by "Brenda Walton" Very Victorian and very intricate. This ornament reminded me of the glass kind my mom always had in that special box marked "FRAGILE!"
I used Embossing Powder to stamp the image. Markers were used for vibrancy. The DP was one of those papers that took your breath away when you saw it! The gold and turquoise and coral colors were accented by raised swirls and dots. There are micro mini crystals in the band of the ornament.I had to use a magnifying glass to see them! I loved the effect that they added to the card. The ribbon was Satin ribbed and I could't believe that I had found an exact color match for the DP!
This was definately an "unconventional" way of doing "Victorian" but it was my interpretation of it! But,then again, I'm an unconventional kind of gal!
